Eva Recio Dominguez

I have been a Registered General Nurse for over 22 years, and a Registered Care Home Manager for the last 12 years. I’m originally from Spain although I have spent half my life in England and am now officially a fully-fledged British citizen.

I am also a Mental Health First Aider and have a keen interest in promoting the wellbeing of both residents, relatives and team members at Sutton Rose Care Home. It is important to me to create a friendly and happy environment at the home and a true sense of community where we can all support one another.

I have been a part of the MACC Care family since 2019, and I successfully lead the team at a sister home to attain a ‘Good’ rating with CQC twice.

I am very excited about the sense of community at Sutton Rose; as well to the amazing facilities on offer, our experienced team are always ready to go the extra mile.

My interests are reading, leading and empowering others to live a healthy lifestyle and keeping fit -you may find me in the gym at Sutton Rose after work with some of our team! In my days off, I enjoy spending time with friends and family usually going for a good hike. I love the feeling of being in nature and the Peak District has become one of my favourite places to visit of late, followed by a nice hearty pub meal!
