Mae Ann Lacson, Church Rose Manager

Hello, my name is Mae Ann Lacson. 

Originally from the Philippines, I moved to the UK 13 years ago. My journey to care home management has taken me from working as a Paediatric specialist nurse in the Philippines and Maldives, to registering as an adult nurse in the UK and working in this area for some 17 years. Having moved around the country during this time I have experienced adult services within different councils and different care providers, equipping me with vast knowledge and expertise in elderly care.

I have worked my way up with MACC Care and became Manager of Church Rose in 2021. My key aspiration is to improve quality of life for all under our care – an aspiration that’s shared amongst all staff.

I am a single mother with a young child but this does not stop me from achieving my professional goals. I love animals, particularly dogs – in fact, I used to shelter homeless dogs and find them a suitable loving family. I also love gardening and seeing nature flourish gives me a degree of satisfaction.

With my caring nature, values and experience, I relish the opportunity to make a genuine difference in peoples’ lives.
