Celebrating the excellence and hard work of staff is an important part of what we do at MACCß Care. At MACC Care, Each year we organise our own MACC Care awards that gives an opportunity for staff from across all departments, care homes and supporting roles to come together to celebrate their peers’ achievements.
The 2019 Care Awards were presented at a glittering ceremony held at the Park Regis Hotel in Birmingham.They recognised, care staff, home managers, nurses, unit leads, culinary, housekeeping and maintenance personnel, for their continued commitment to the company and, more importantly, the people we help support and take care of.
A large part of what makes the event so special is that staff are nominated by their peers for the awards – the best accolade anyone can receive. Nominations were received from across all our care homes and services, with glowing recommendations from home managers, residents and fellow staff. A s with every year, it was very difficult for our judges to choose the category winners. Nevertheless, choose they did, and here are the winners for each award:
