So, we were delighted when they announced our very own head chef, Anas, as the winner of the Care Home Chef award!

The ceremony, held on Thursday 28th November, celebrated the incredible contributions of care professionals, and our head chef Anas shone brightly amongst them. Recognised for his deep passion for care and exceptional culinary skills, he’s a true gem in our Macc Care family.
The judges were captivated by Anas’s unique story — how his love and respect for his parents influence the way he cares for others, treating every resident as though they were his own family.
Anas’s professional background in the hotel industry brings creativity and precision to every dish he prepares, but it’s his humility and warmth that truly set him apart.
What makes Anas special isn’t just his mastery in the kitchen, but his dedication to fostering community. He doesn’t stop at preparing delicious meals; he connects with our residents, involving them in activities and making mealtimes moments of joy and togetherness.
His commitment to going above and beyond makes him a true winner of the Care Home Chef award, and we’re extremely proud of his achievement.
