She said: “I was using a completely different electronic system to that of Person Centred Software’s Mobile Care Monitoring service. Operating a brand new electronic care planning platform was quite daunting, but since joining Sutton Rose back in August 2021, I’ve never looked back.”

Since implementing Person Centred Software, aspects of recording, viewing, and utilising information have improved. Eva said: “By having the digital handheld system at my fingertips, I’m granted instantaneous clinical oversight of the whole care home operation in real-time.
“This allows me to track whether residents are in receipt of their planned care, and if daily targets of fluids and nutritional intake are being met. On top of this, it ensures that handover data is available to all relevant staff from the moment they join the home.”
Technology in healthcare has enabled our carers to ensure our residents’ safety by suggesting whether an individual requires specialist equipment. For example, a resident may need low profiling beds or personalised mobility aids, which are then maintained and evaluated on a person-centred basis.
