Meet the Manager
Dionne Pearson,
Leighton Rose Manager
With over 20 years of nursing experience, I began my journey in the Royal Air Force as part of the Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service. The values instilled in me during my training -discipline, compassion, and dedication – continue to shape my approach to care today.
For the past 19 years, I have devoted myself to the management of nursing homes, driven by a deep passion for elderly care. To me, these are not just workplaces – they are the homes of the people we have the privilege to support. My mission is to ensure that every resident receives the dignity, respect, and quality of life they deserve.
I have a particular commitment to providing compassionate end-of-life care, ensuring comfort and peace in a person’s final moments. More than that, I believe in creating meaningful opportunities for people in their later years, fostering an environment where they can continue to thrive, engage, and feel valued.
Caring for others is not just my profession – it is my calling.
.

Carey Burden
Customer Relationship Manager
I’ve worked in health and social care for more than 25 years, starting out as a part-time receptionist and gradually progressing into quality, management and customer relations roles.
Over the years, I’ve worked across a number of care settings, supporting teams, families and residents, and that experience has given me a real understanding of how important trust and communication are when choosing care.
At Leighton Rose, my role is all about helping people get to know the home, building relationships within the local community and making sure families feel informed and supported.
I’m very much a people person, so the part I enjoy most is the interaction and knowing I’ve helped make a difference.
Outside work, I love getting away in my caravan and switching off for a while.
