At Macc Care, we know how meaningful it can be when families, residents and younger generations come together to share simple moments of joy.

That was exactly the spirit behind a recent teddy bear tea party at Studley Rose, where residents, families and children enjoyed a relaxed morning of activities in the home’s garden.

A morning of family fun

Studley Rose, part of Macc Care Group, welcomed families into the home to spend quality time with residents and make the most of the sunny weather.

The garden provided a bright and welcoming setting for the event, with plenty for children to enjoy. Activities included water play, colouring, garden games and teddy bear biscuit decorating, giving younger visitors the chance to get creative and have fun.

Residents watched on, chatted with families and shared refreshments with their visitors, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the morning.

Teddy Bear treats and shared moments

No teddy bear tea party would be complete without themed treats and guests enjoyed teddy bear sandwiches and ice cream as part of the celebrations.

For many residents, the highlight of the morning was seeing children playing, laughing and interacting with life at the home.

The event created an easy, informal opportunity for different generations to spend time together, helping residents stay connected to family life and the wider community.

Creating meaningful connections

Bhav Amlani, Director of Macc Care, which operates 18 homes across the Midlands, said: “It was lovely to welcome families into the home and see our residents smiling as they watched the children playing and joining in with the activities.

“Events like this are so important because they bring everyone together and create really special moments between residents, families, children and staff. We are already looking forward to hosting the next one.”

The teddy bear tea party forms part of Studley Rose’s ongoing programme of meaningful activities, designed to support wellbeing, encourage social connection and create moments that residents and their families can treasure.

At Macc Care, we are proud to provide opportunities that bring joy, companionship and a true sense of home to everyday life.
