We are delighted to announce the opening of Bilbrook Rose, our new 80-bed care home in the village of Bilbrook, near Codsall.

Providing residential, nursing, dementia and respite care, Bilbrook Rose is our 19th care home and marks another important step in our continued growth across the Midlands.

A new care home for the Codsall community

Bilbrook Rose has been created in response to the growing demand for high-quality, person-centred care in South Staffordshire.

The purpose-built home provides generously proportioned en-suite accommodation alongside a selection of communal and therapeutic spaces designed to support residents with a range of needs.

As with all Macc Care homes, the focus is on providing the right level of support within a home-from-home environment.

Residents can receive residential, nursing, dementia or respite care, allowing the team to provide personalised support based on each person’s circumstances and requirements.

Facilities designed around residents

Bilbrook Rose offers a range of facilities that residents can enjoy as part of everyday life at the home.

These include a cinema, hair salon, library and wellness suite, providing spaces where residents can relax, enjoy their interests and spend time with others.

The home also features a courtyard water garden, creating an additional communal area for residents and their visitors to enjoy.

Together, these facilities give residents a variety of spaces to choose from while supporting Macc Care’s commitment to helping people live fulfilling lives.

Supporting timely, personalised care

Technology has also been incorporated throughout Bilbrook Rose to support the home’s clinical team.

Advanced nurse and acoustic monitoring systems are used to help colleagues provide timely, personalised care while responding to residents’ individual needs.

These systems form part of the clinical and operational infrastructure behind the home, supporting the team as they deliver high standards of care.

This investment reflects our wider approach to combining person-centred support with strong clinical governance and a well-supported workforce.

Investing in sustainability

Bilbrook Rose has also been developed to strong environmental standards as part of Macc Care’s wider investment in sustainability.

The building uses fossil fuel-free heating and includes electric vehicle charging facilities.

These features help ensure that the development reflects not only the needs of residents today, but also our responsibility to invest in more sustainable services for the future.

Welcoming the local community

The opening of Bilbrook Rose was marked with a community open day.

People from Codsall and the surrounding areas were invited to tour the new home, meet members of the team and experience some of the facilities available to residents.

The event provided an opportunity to introduce Bilbrook Rose to the local community and give families a closer look at the care and support the home will provide.

An important step for Macc Care

The opening represents another important step in Macc Care’s continued growth across the Midlands.

In recent years, we have expanded our portfolio while continuing to invest in workforce development and the clinical and operational systems that support our homes.

Bhav Amlani, Director at Macc Care, said: “Bilbrook Rose is a home we are immensely proud of, and its opening marks another important step in our growth as a provider.

“Demand for high-quality care continues to rise, and it’s vital we keep investing in services that increase capacity while delivering the standards that individuals and families rightly expect.

“Our focus remains on sustainable growth, making sure every new home reflects our commitment to person-centred care, underpinned by strong clinical governance and a well-supported workforce.”

Providing high-quality care across the Midlands

Founded by doctors almost two decades ago, Macc Care has grown to become a leading provider of care for older people across the Midlands.

Bilbrook Rose joins our network of 19 care homes, each committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care within a welcoming home-from-home environment.

The opening allows us to support more residents and families while continuing to extend our philosophy of care across the region.
