Introducing Church Rose
Church Rose is a cheerful home located within the Handsworth area, providing care for up to 48 residents across four wings. Culture and community are at the heart of the home, which celebrates a hugely diverse and rich representation of backgrounds amongst its residents, their families, support networks and our staff.
The home is also an integral part of the local community, welcoming visitors from charities, schools, colleges and religious speakers from a broad spectrum of spiritual backgrounds. With a busy calendar of events, there’s always plenty going on – from visiting dancers, BBQs, parties, birthdays and anniversaries to celebrations of an array of holidays. Church Rose is also renowned for its commitment to mental health and resident wellbeing, with charities paying frequent visits and an activities programme designed to help people live well and enjoy life.
Award Winning
MACC Care is proud to be recognised as a ‘Top 20 Care Home Group’ in the carehome.co.uk Care Home Group Awards 2024. This accolade is based on reviews from residents or service users and their family or friends, and is testament to the dedication of our teams and commitment to quality care within our care homes.
“There’s a calm, happy atmosphere throughout. The nurses are amazing too and respond quickly to any changes to needs. They’re persistent in chasing up external resources and services, and we are hugely grateful for the care that Mum has received since being here.”
Cathy M (Daughter of Resident)

What sets us apart
Church Rose thrives on supporting and celebrating the heritage of every one of its residents, with everything from special events, to the inclusion of traditional dishes and local specialities in our food menus.
The team works hard to go the extra mile, even down to details such as providing bibles and other religious texts in a larger font for the comfort and ease of residents.
The culture of Church Rose means that the wider community and families are involved with all residents, even those they are not related to; this truly is one big integrated family.
