Introducing Meadow Rose

Close-knit and supportive, Meadow Rose in Longbridge is homely and well-established. Revolving around community, it provides a family environment for up to 56 residents. With a regular stream of visitors – family and friends, volunteers and members of the local community all coming together as ‘Friends of Meadow Rose’ – the home is always lively in atmosphere.

Relationships are strong and the friendships forged are genuine and enduring; even if a loved one is no longer at the home, many relatives choose to continue to visit and keep in touch – popping in for a chat or helping tend to the garden or supporting our charity fundraising events. With a busy activities programme and events calendar, there’s always something new for residents to experience.

Our aim is offer excellent nursing, residential and dementia care whilst nurturing the individual sense of belonging that is essential for emotional wellbeing. Whether residents are relaxing in our garden, socialising within our attractive communal areas or enjoying favourite hobbies, our talented and good-natured carers and nurses ensure everything residents need is at hand and nothing is ever too much trouble.

What sets us apart

With an impressive social schedule and activities 7 days a week, there’s plenty of scope for personal enrichment. Residents can keep active with specially designed exercise classes, yoga, skittles, netball. Day trips are common place with residents’ families joining in, and special events are ever popular, ranging from professional singers to ‘mocktail’ mixing!

Many of Meadow Rose’s 56 rooms are single, with an en-suite wet room, television point and a nurse-call system as standard. A number of rooms offer far-reaching views over the gardens and surrounding area.

Services available include a laundry service, access to a weekly in-house hairdresser, massages and manicures. We also can arrange sessions for aromatherapy, chiropody, chiropractor, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dental hygiene and eye testing. The care team are on hand 24/7 to provide any other kind of assistance.

The food at Meadow Rose is exceptional with a varied menu of hearty dishes freshly prepared each day, accommodating dietary preferences and special requirements. Snacks and drinks are available for residents at any time.
